North Shore, Oahu

The last three days of our honeymoon we stayed on Oahu's North Shore. The views were breathe taking but it definitely wasn't the quiet place Kauai was. This was a view from our balcony.

While here we mostly drove around sight seeing and shopping.

Our first stop was at The Dole Plantation. Here we took a train ride and went into their large maze. We didn't make any records in the maze but we had a ton of fun.

We were able to find a very beautiful pearl pendent for me. It is a Tahitian Keshi Pearl, meaning there is no starter in the center and all natural.

We only had one appointment to keep here and that was a couples massage, on the beach with a ocean view. This was so much fun in the three wall tiki hut.

Welcome to Kauai

We spend the first six days of our honeymoon on the quiet island of Kauai.

Our first official outing in Kauai was to take a helicopter ride to get a better view of the entire island.

After time out of the hotel we settled in for the next day at the spa. We both enjoyed this day of relaxation as we got a couples massage.

Scott's family gave us not only our helicopter ride but also a kayak trip to a hidden waterfall. We truly enjoyed this day as we kayaked up the river and went on a hike in the mud to find the waterfall.

The hike was more then worth it!

In the mood for another hike, we adventured out on our own and found a trail the next day. This trail was the muddiest trail we have ever been on but at the end we saw a beautiful hidden beach.

Wednesday night we headed over to a local luau and learned about the journey the locals took to settle in the Hawaiian Islands. We forgot our camera :-(

Hawaiian Islands

For our honeymoon we headed to Hawaii

Scott decided to plan the honeymoon alone. Everything we did was a surprise to me. This was our first time in Hawaii and we were both so excited.

So in Love!

On April 11, 2009 our Journey together began, well this was after three years of dating. It all started simple with a boy and girl in love and the boy had the idea he was ready for the big commitment. And I was ready too!

We could not stop smiling 8-)

A day that started out perfect ended just as perfect. Everything went to plan and we loved being with our closest family and friends as we began our life together.
